“Wintergreen pokes through inches of fresh snow on the south side of the decaying beech tree. It's been a year and a half since the Capsule project began and I reflect on its pith as I gather the minty wild. The wind that comes is the wind that carriers and the torch that guides guards the steward. Entwined, entangled, elegant and rough I saw both faces as the flesh green faded - my love, I thank you for the storm and sea, for the clear and calm, for the deep look and the way into form.
